Good Sunday everyone,
There are actually such models with a permanently employed caregiver/household help who lives in the house, but that is not the reason for the basement apartment; it would only be a worst-case option in old age.
The house size has actually gotten out of hand – we hadn’t considered that – I also think we should get smaller and ultimately end up with max. 120-130m², also because of the construction costs.
Height specifications are shown in the initial post, there is no survey plan yet, east-west slope approx. 60cm / 10m,
south-north slope approx. 1.0m / 10m
I forgot to mention yesterday, I mainly use the workshop for my hobby – model building out of wood – besides the everyday tasks.
I meant something different about the parapet height, currently 1.5m rough construction measurement, so approx. 1.35m finished floor level; here one can try during the outdoor planning to enlarge the windows to reach a parapet height of 1.15m finished floor level.
We’ll take the other points, including the comments from , uncommented – there is probably a lot of truth in it – amateur design after all.
We should really wait for drafts from a professional first, maybe we will be positively surprised.
What would you write as a reasonable total area for basement and ground floor with guest apartment, wellness area, and workshop in the requirements catalog – we should at least make some rough guideline – is max. 250m² realistic?
Our other requirements you can see in our plans – and yes, we will keep those to ourselves; the planner only gets rough parameters!
