Another advantage is that they often know the building authorities and are aware of what might still just be "acceptable" regardless of the development plan and what is not.

There is also a reason why about 80% of construction in new development areas is done regionally...

As I said, at the beginning we were also totally fixated on supraregional prefabricated house providers à la Weberhaus etc.

Thank God we switched. Already after the first conversation I knew that I would definitely leave this prefabricated house route.

As I said, you can also easily build a prefabricated house, many do it here! Definitely not a mistake either, don't misunderstand!

The problem is just: @TE: You don't even know what suits you because you haven't tried everything yet. Just be open to it.

our general contractor, Massiv, made 2 offers, one KfW55 and one as an extra column KfW40, the difference was insulation of the roof, floor slab, wall and controlled residential ventilation, price difference 12k€

Well, if you speak in such absolute terms, your facts should also be correct. Please provide a source for the 98%.
But you are definitely wrong with 98%. Unfortunately, I have no sources; I do not know any general contractor in my region who builds monolithically. (Here, however, probably about 50-80% are built with clinker.)

And that is absolutely wrong too. Of course, a photovoltaic system does NOT pay off environmentally IMMEDIATELY. The energy consumed for manufacturing is immense. That is simply nonsense.

Yes, then include the clinker and you are at 98% - my percentage values are simply meant to illustrate how it is "common practice" today. Since I don't estimate the OP to want to do something "special," I think it also makes sense to make such statements. Of course, it should serve more symbolically than really as a source that proves this :D

You don't always have to take everything so literally :p - ultimately, I just want to point out to the OP with these statements that it does make sense to inform oneself in this area.

Absolutely right about the photovoltaic system and thus also basically another argument that does not necessarily speak in favor of photovoltaics.

The "immense" is roughly regained within 2 years with an operating life of 25 to 30 years. Mathematically, the system breaks even after 8 to 10 years if it does not have a storage unit.
