I quote myself. Anyone who is actually a civil servant should take a look there.

As a civil servant single client with an existing plot of land, I did not receive a loan from the Badische Beamtenbank - but I did receive one from the local Volksbank.

Logical, the BB is rather small and only does all the safe financings at poor conditions.

It has become the local Volksbank for us as well - by the way, completely without any problems and with a pretty good interest rate, I think.

My former neighbor, a civil servant senior teacher, also did not get a loan from the Badische Beamtenbank. He then got it from the Volksbank or Sparkasse.

The BBB has been a completely normal Volksbank for all population groups for 50 years, one of the largest in D by the way – not a civil servant bank. It offers the same conditions and has nearly the same framework conditions as all other Volksbanken (it can just as well utilize the network with the real estate banks).
