Yes, but if the dip does occur, it will fall exactly within the period when we want to sell our house. Of course, I am happy for everyone else that it is not a permanent decline. (My husband and I are already at an age where, in my opinion, two years in house building do make a difference. But let's see, maybe new unforeseen opportunities will arise.)

Don’t drive yourself crazy about it... searches are still ongoing and many people currently notice that they can partly do without consumption, and many develop the desire for nicer and larger living space and to improve quality of life for such a time... the article is very general....
In every crisis there are also many opportunities for other industries, see Amazon, etc..

Just wait and see over the next few months what will be passed on to the citizens as economic stimulus packages from the government side to boost the economy and the construction industry.

A nationwide homeownership grant modeled after Bavaria? A KfW funding program through which the real estate transfer tax is refunded? Increasing the KfW homeownership program to 200,000 euros with subordinated security in the land register and a 20,000 euro repayment grant? A scrappage bonus for cars that were purchased during the last scrappage program?

Similar to after the financial crisis, the world will not end this time either, and the gates of hell will not open. The policy of easy money will continue, and government stimulus packages will arrive soon. No one knows exactly what they will look like, but I have already mentioned a few ideas above.

That's how it will be, people will bundle nice things with the KFW, I'm really looking forward to that... The motto is anyway what ever it takes....

Then the solution is quite simple. Sell the house later and in the meantime take out bridge financing - where is the problem. Don't paint everything so black and be a little flexible. Whining and complaining doesn't help.

All of this is also making me uneasy right now, we are about to sign with a house builder... Kfw 40 would thus be available to us as a subsidy. No one knows how it will develop, will the conditions get better or worse? I have to talk to different financiers this or next week. I currently have concerns about signing now and regretting it afterwards. But unfortunately, you never know...?!
