I find the door to the garage in this configuration even more obsolete than in almost all other floor plans that have had something like this...

Uh, yes, I must have forgotten to look at the measurements earlier. Indeed: in terms of square meters, someone has done hoarding purchases in the ground floor and attic, and regarding the basement, I would even say it is braggart Küchenmeister. That is good news: then the house could be painlessly made so much smaller that the garage is gladly used even without a parking assistant.

Thanks already to everyone for your points!

Do you mean the garage regarding width / driveway?

Regarding size: yes – on the one hand, we had planned a certain "reserve" for possible family growth. In addition, we had the idea that moving walls only costs "a little" more and that you can get an attractive price per square meter this way.

Looking forward to more thoughts!!!
Best regards ✊

But here a dormer, there an atrium... simply does not make the house more attractive - it loses its charm, looks as if it is bursting at the seams (dormers, atriums). It looks like a too small built used property, to which everything has been added and rebuilt. Also the extension that is supposed to serve as a balcony...

So I think the design is pretty good. The extension with the covered terrace as well as the light wells make the house unique. Sure, if the budget only allows for square, practical, good, these points could be argued away. But as it is, why not? Of course, the dormer windows are debatable. Is a higher knee wall not allowed? Overall, I personally really like the design. above all, finally some space for a huge island in the kitchen - I like.

Knee wall unfortunately only 80 cm The attic is a bit our challenge...

How do you see the air space? And the fact that you can only access the balcony "through the children's rooms"?

Best regards and many thanks - this is our first house that we are building (and quite probably the last)....
