Our plans are pretty much exactly like that.

220 sqm plus basement

On the west side, the question now is whether we would rather place our house as far west as possible in order to possibly have a privacy screen. Possibly with a pergola? Wall extension or L-shape or or or ...

Thanks for your ideas on this....

Best regards

... it would be useful to know exactly what the slope is ... is it only 1m or is it 2 m ... even 2 m would only be about 75 cm height difference with a house width of about 15 m.

I also think that Wohn UG won’t work – the plot is too "flat" for that. I think it is about 1.5 m downward West to East over about 39 m and about 0.7 m downward North to South over 20 m

Thank you ✊

I don’t know what you think, how much leeway you have? With 3 meters to the neighbor, there isn’t much room to “shift to the west” given the house size. And if it’s now about 2 meters, there’s no need to discuss it; it certainly doesn’t provide privacy. The diagonal building boundary is not an advantage.

The slope always looks flatter than it is. If you build with a basement and not against the slope, with some modeling you will get your proper window facing east for the office.

I’d come with definitive numbers and a plan; everything else will follow.

Thank you! One thought was, among other things, whether it is possible to achieve something with, for example, an L-shaped ground floor layout (subordinate building part) extending as far west as possible at the top (north) (e.g., with a balloon on top). The goal is to create better visual protection "against" the northern and thus somewhat higher neighbor (who will presumably face southwest) .... Just an idea.... what do you think? I will post something here as soon as I have something in the next round... Best regards ✊

So folks,

we now have the first draft from the architect.

Attached are the first "preliminary drafts" from the architect.

Of course, we have already communicated some initial change requests/ideas. But this is the current status on paper.

Anyone interested is warmly invited to share their thoughts!

We're not quite sure what to make of it - especially the attic.
And whether a house 2 meters wider, i.e., 12 instead of 10 m (north-south), wouldn’t make the space planning easier and appear more "generous"...

Thanks in advance and
best regards
