Thank you for your thoughts!!!!

What can I imagine as a layperson? Sorry - do you simply mean the "room effect"?

Best regards and thanks!!!

yes, the spatial effect is meant. if your room is very large (m²) and the ceiling is very low, the room feels cramped and not really spacious. the opposite is the case, for example, with small narrow rooms. if these then have very high ceilings, for example in old buildings, they appear very disproportionally tall and tube-like. so you have to find the right "balance" between room size and room height

Exactly as j.bautsch summarized it. I see the "danger" with the (huge) size that the rooms will feel very cramped due to the "standard" ceiling height. Therefore, definitely pay attention to the height! Or alternatively, scale it and plan the house a bit more compactly – that saves money and at the same time brings more coziness (who wants to live in a ballroom).

Hm.... we have a raw construction height of 2.75 on the ground floor. It's not quite the height you recommended, but I think it should "be enough"... right?

Dear forum members and construction experts:

Attached is our very latest draft (shortly before submitting the building application).

Main changes:
- A "granny flat has now been created" (hence the stair cube in the southeast).
- various "smaller" floor plan changes

Anyone who feels like taking another look is warmly invited.

Many thanks again for all your ideas / suggestions.

Best regards and enjoy everyone
