I don't understand that you don't understand it. These are simple terms, explanations, and sentences that even read quite well in the plan you posted. You hardly need any logical conclusions. It's kind of like my granddaughter's puzzle: a square doesn't fit into a triangle ;) 4.40 is shorter than 5.50…

That's exactly why this distance should be eliminated for an electric gate. I would inquire about that.

As far as I know, the minimum distance is also intended so that you still have a fully usable parking space in front of the garage (even if the parking space inside the garage is then a "trapped" parking space).

I partly understand the laws as well: "for placing a vehicle"... that has less to do with which type of tort, and more to do with the expectation that the car is not driven into the garage three times a day, but rather is parked there the day before.

The 5.5 meters are about being able to get off the street quickly. So that you don't have to open any gates while blocking the entire street with your car. Therefore, it's an area that fits a car. Whether it's parked there for a longer time or just to open some gate doesn't matter. It is not intended to be a full parking space in the proper sense or anything like that; you just shouldn't annoy anyone unnecessarily. Our development plan states that the distance must be "in any case" 5.5 meters, meaning that with a diagonally positioned booth, the 5.5 meters must also apply at the point with the shortest distance to the street.
