What are all the electric cars charged with? How should the peaks be covered? I can already see the lights going out. Every evening between 4 and 6 PM, one to two cars are plugged into the wallbox in every garage. Shortly afterwards, ovens, washing machines, and dryers in the households are turned on.

Trucks and buses must have overhead lines. That’s how they charge their batteries for routes without overhead lines. It already works like this in Rome. Private cars, either you don't have one and order on demand, as I would like to do, or you have one and it runs on hydrogen. We produce H with offshore wind farm electricity. There is endless space for something like that. You just can’t mourn every shredded seagull then. There is always something.

And how many routes do you need to get the electricity from the offshore wind farms to the south?
How many wind farms are needed to reliably cover the immense energy demand?
Is it even possible to build so many without restricting shipping?
Especially now when every day is gray and there isn’t much sun in the sky.
With car on demand (I still like the idea) you reduce the third car for us - maybe. In combination with autonomous driving, seniors stay mobile for much longer.
There is no public transport here except for school buses. Without a car, nothing works.

Offshore is space without end. Large shipping sails on fixed routes that remain free, while small shipping can easily pass through or sail around these minefields. The power only needs to go as far as the electrolysis center for hydrogen production. This doesn’t have to be in southern Germany. We in the north have land space as well. Wind power has nothing to do with the sun. Wind at sea is almost constant. And the product H is something like a storage. With a lot of wind, I stock up for other days. It’s possible, you just have to do it. Denmark has already started with it. Just google Rödsand. Battery cars are a dead end, bet on it.

Where I come from, the place where all that junk is stored is called the "shed" or the "garden house." Meanwhile, the place where the car is parked is generally referred to as the "garage." And if you use the garage as a certified parking spot, only one car or possibly a motorcycle is allowed inside, at most some accessories like tires.
Anyone who misuses it for bikes, firewood, surfboards, workbenches, etc., is committing an administrative offense. I simply recommend taking a look at the state building code or garage regulations.

The important sentence is, parking space to be proven. If my garage is an additional parking space, then it can also become a shed.
