Why do you want to swap the dressing room and parents' bedroom with this plan? That's counterproductive if only one person has to get up in the morning... first down to the bathroom, then past the bed to the dressing room, then past the bed again to go outside.
Primarily, our idea was because the knee wall is at 1.70 m and by swapping, we can fit more wardrobes, meaning there would be a maximum height on the interior wall, which is not possible in the "current" dressing room due to the protruding showers and windows.
But why go down to the bathroom first? It's upstairs... and whether someone walks past the bed once doesn't bother us. That's how it is now anyway.
Now we are moving on to the topics of garages and floor slabs. I have an offer from Glatthaar for around €13,800 excluding earthworks; I have budgeted €8,000 for that. The offers from local companies here in Bavaria are still pending...
I received a telephone offer from a prefab garage supplier for a 6x9 m garage with a gate for just under €25,000; I should receive the written offer this week - but it will likely result in self-construction, which, fortunately, my father-in-law is good at.
I originally thought that €20,000 would easily be enough for a garage...
