Here are a few pictures, a lot has happened since my last post.
Unfortunately, the sanitary subcontractor from Danwood messed up, meaning a T-valve was pressed so badly that water leaked under the underfloor heating at the hot water supply line for over 1.5 months and during this time (luckily) flowed sideways outside under the bitumen foil on the base plate.
Even though it doesn't sound good, it didn't affect us too badly, meaning the walls were barely touched and we got away with drying work (6 weeks), new tiles where the holes were, new baseboards, new exterior insulation, drywall & painting work.
Also lucky in the whole matter was our residential building insurance from AXA. They immediately sent us a damage acceptance and a personal damage assessor and covered all costs, which they will then independently recover from the opposing insurance.
Otherwise, a lot has happened along the way:
- H-foundation garage built
- Delivery of Rekers prefabricated garage
- Fence fully erected
- Gable roof for the garage
- Paving work with entrance platform
- Base insulation & plaster
Next year, the base plaster will be painted, as will the house since it is a plaster color mix. The garage, meaning the gable roof, will also be painted and terrace, pergola, and entrance canopy are also planned to follow.
Let's see if all that can be managed in terms of time
