To summarize what I have read: the stain, quite inconspicuous and only rust-sized about as big as a Christmas tree stand, was never repaired. The size of the stain will probably not justify replacing the entire room. The apartment has been rented out with the stain. So there is no reduction or disadvantage from this stain, which is overlooked (landlord) or accepted (tenant).
Exactly, a stain the size of a Christmas tree stand. Slightly reddish... not in the middle of the room but about 1 meter from the wall. On the light beech floor but visible.
It has already become significantly lighter through my cleaning attempts, but has not disappeared. How it looks now after 2 years, I cannot judge. Especially after the cleaning attempts by the landlord’s cleaning company. The apartment was rented out immediately and the stain is still present according to the landlord. However, the repair was never carried out...
The replacement of the entire floor was justified with "it is not possible from a technological point of view." We were also not given any opportunity for repairs or improvements; which is now also difficult since it has already been rented out again for 2 years.
