Exactly, a stain the size of a Christmas tree stand. Slightly reddish... not in the middle of the room but about 1 meter from the wall. On the light beech floor but visible.

It has already become significantly lighter through my cleaning attempts, but has not disappeared. How it looks now after 2 years, I cannot judge. Especially after the cleaning attempts by the landlord’s cleaning company. The apartment was rented out immediately and the stain is still present according to the landlord. However, the repair was never carried out...

The replacement of the entire floor was justified with "it is not possible from a technological point of view." We were also not given any opportunity for repairs or improvements; which is now also difficult since it has already been rented out again for 2 years.

See the summary again in #90.

This is an online forum and not Barbara Salesch.
Unfortunately, a forum cannot provide you with evidence proceedings.
Of course, it then remains based on the descriptions of the OP.

The landlord’s approach alone justifies squeezing every miserable euro out of him. Because you don’t let such crap happen to you.

Of course, there is no procedure of proof here. That cannot be the claim either. Precisely because it remains with the descriptions of the OP, no one here can give good advice. Solidarity with the OP is naturally understandable in the forum and certainly also emotionally helpful.

This does not help the OP, as it can lead to wrong decisions due to misjudgments.

I assume honesty on the part of the OP and he is fully entitled to present his view here.

The way other writers and you, Alex, judge the landlord—knowing that the facts are unclear—is simply troubling.

It is this kind of "echo chamber mechanism" that is spreading. The news themselves are not faked—but much too incomplete and biased.

You probably haven't engaged enough with the forum here?! There is solidarity here, but very limited. Most see almost everything critically and rather want to clear a questioner's mind in anonymity.

You don’t have to justify yourself to us. You won’t be heard in court either. Unfortunately, you are now caught between a judge and 2 lawyers and a lot of paperwork. The judge will decide on it alongside lunch break and bathroom visit from the file. Trouble with the partner. Never pay attention to something like that.

Sincere from the partner. Always stand by what you do.
