Wow, since the beginning of 2016... Respect for the perseverance. If your time and inclination allow, I would continue to push it through all instances. I agree with the suggestion to call the [court bailiff].

Man... haven’t given an update in such a long time... so it’s about time again:

After the bank didn’t get back to me, I went there again after about 2 months and asked. This time a different employee was sitting across from us and looked into the case. It seemed to be somehow "stuck" in the system and hadn’t been processed for weeks. Only after the employee called the internal processing did things start moving forward. After about another 2 weeks, we finally received our rental deposit back.

So I am still missing 150 euros in interest + the court costs. I already asked our lawyer about the cost assessment order in mid-August, because suddenly I had received 300 euros from the opposing side. The lawyer assured me that the order was not yet available... but he would contact me immediately if it arrived. Now on Tuesday I’d had enough and called again to ask. This time the lawyer had no time and the secretary was on the phone. She took the file to look at and, surprise surprise, found the cost assessment order... according to her it has been available since August 12, 2019. So about the time I had asked the lawyer...

She sent it to me by email and it says that the costs are divided into thirds and I should receive a little over 300 euros from the opposing side. I am left with 150 euros... I already received the 300 euros in August. But I don’t want to be left with the 150 euros either... these are due to the lawyer’s mistakes.

Appealing the order is no longer possible after 3 months... this is also due to the lawyer. It had apparently been with him since August 12, 2019... and he apparently never filed the promised complaint with the court. Let’s see how it goes from here - I won’t accept that.

Have you already paid this bungler of a lawyer?

Yes....the invoice already came in March 2019...according to him, I should get all the money back from the other party.

I think he deliberately didn’t get in touch anymore... I have already received my share, the 300 euros. It had already been paid...for him, it was settled now. No inquiries wanted...

Well, do you want an honest answer? Write off the money and give it a factual bad review.
