The 19" cabinet that recommended is only available in a depth of 400mm. The 10" one then in 300mm, as you mentioned. If the small one is enough for me for switch, router, patch panel, power strip then I would prefer the smaller network cabinet as well. What do you think? DN-10-09U - 10" really sufficient? I would prefer that the patch panel comes from him, provided that it is really universally connectable here. He has certainly already ordered it... I don’t want to "remodel" much here, as long as it is not extra effort for him to install the whole thing in the network cabinet. I would have put it to him and told him to mount the patch panel here. - what do you mean by power outlet in the network cabinet? :D I can just plug the cable from the multiple socket into the electrical cabinet at the top, right? Or do you mean he has to install a socket "behind" the new network cabinet? But then there would have to be a hole in the cabinet? Somehow I am totally confused right now xDIf a prepared "patch panel" is included in his offer, he would probably just nail it to the wall .... If you provide him with the cabinet and a corresponding patch panel for it, he will probably have no problem running the cables directly through and laying them on it ... I would install the cabinet under your fuse box, the cables are already hanging there. Then they will be routed through the upper part of the cabinet and neatly installed. From my point of view, a 10" cabinet should be enough, here for example a Digitus DN-10-09U. The advantage of this is that it is only 30 cm deep, similar to the fuse box, and therefore does not stick out as much. At least in my case that was important, because right behind the door ...
