Which patch panel has CAT 7? I thought CAT 6a is the limit for RJ45? Even if I don’t have to install it myself, I prefer the keystone modules with 19” mounting bracket. You can reorder ports on the mounting bracket afterwards, and if you want to restructure something, you can also pull the cables out of the network cabinet individually.

if you don't have a Magnet TV, Unify is simple. It's really fun if you have their router, switch, and APs. Do you need multiple networks (guest, children, work, security....)? Then it's interesting. If you just want one network and are a "normal" user, it is not necessary. Unless you want to manage everything centrally. Then an all-in-one box (Fritz-Box or similar) and a few APs are enough. The solution without Unify is cheaper but offers significantly fewer possibilities. The configuration effort is not really greater though.

Sorry, yes. Why I had a "PLUS" in mind here, I unfortunately don't know.... But ultimately I meant the standard one that you currently get from Amazon for the mentioned 130 EUR.

As I said, I relied on Fritzboxes for many years. In a single-family home with fiber optics and access points, I no longer saw any advantages, since it is more expensive/more complicated to implement than, for example, with the Speedport. Unfortunately, AMV does not offer APs with POE, so not everything would come from one source anyway. Everything else like DECT etc. is also excellently provided by Speedport....

Alright - I think I'll go for it here then! What kind of access point do you have? And which switch? Since we’re at it :D Do I actually need the 1000mbit switch, or is 100mbit enough here? The switches always offer these two variants here. I have a 100mbit fiber optic line with Telekom.
