That would be possible with half duplex, but that's not what I mean. So you do need one port on the patch panel for every network port in the house. But in my opinion, not all ports on the patch panels need to be connected directly to a switch. You can patch them as you need.I have to honestly admit that the statement confuses me a bit. So far, I have understood it like this: 23 network connections = 23 cables arriving in the utility room. Each one is then connected to a port on the patch panel. From there, I go into the switch. Do you mean I can, for example, connect the two network connections from the children's room to one port and thus "save" one connection?
