In the attic, your windows are very, very small – regardless of east/south/west. Your 17m² bedroom has a 1m floor-to-ceiling window. Ours, with 14m², has a total of 4m floor-to-ceiling windows (which I find a bit too much, but my wife loves bright rooms – and it’s her house).
On the ground floor, you currently have no west windows. Only north and east, which means it is dark from noon onwards.

I couldn't find the hide function^^ If we rearrange the rooms partly as planned and relocate the carport and storage, we will of course also install new windows so that there is enough light coming in.

Certainly better than none at all. But what is the window or door on the ground floor supposed to look like? Clear glass? That means anyone from the street could look straight into your living room. That’s why these doors/windows are usually frosted, and then exactly 0 light comes into the living room. Even if it were clear glass – that you would brighten your living room with it unfortunately remains a dream. Way too far away. The architect implements your wishes. Nothing more. If you think he won’t build you something because it would be too dark, you are mistaken. The only thing that matters to him is having the building permit and the money in hand. If all houses stand "crosswise," you will hardly be able to deviate from that. This also applies to the roof. The information simply was missing for an assessment.

At the very end of our street, however, there are also 3 town villas with a pyramid roof. But is that enough as an argument for the gable facing the street?
