Yes, that's correct. It does not affect a neighboring house. There are no building encumbrances or similar. The house that stood on the current building area was demolished, and now there is a gap again. From my point of view, it was also set quite arbitrarily back then, especially since the building areas on neighboring plots are somewhat offset. I will call the office next week, but I don't believe there is any room for maneuver here. Even a slight deviation regarding two-story construction (omitting the loggia and building the house smaller instead) was assessed as probably not approvable (the municipality would be in favor, but the district office, which ultimately approves it, is apparently quite formal).Which neighboring house was demolished? - Regarding distances, a demolition would not change anything as such, unless a distance surface assumption would also be deleted in the process.
