12 o'clock. Nobody home! Ending work at 4 p.m., then I want sun. On weekends it rains or I am on a trip.

In the original by Hans Kuckuck, the singing inspector, it says "on the Intercity from Bremen to Vegesack." After all, the Transrapid has been exported to China. In ten minutes!

I have now made a few more adjustments to the latest floor plan version (with the living-dining area on the upper floor). Thanks also to the comments from the forum, I am now for the first time at a point where I think it could fit reasonably well.

The size has remained the same. About 220 sqm. Position on the plot as last time in the west.

What has changed is the shape of the house, now without projections or recesses. Small apartment on the ground floor can be divided for flexible use with a folding wall. For example, as a children's room + utility room, guest room + utility room, complete granny flat, etc. As children's rooms, the two eastern rooms on the ground floor are basically intended. As long as the children are small, the room upstairs is intended as a children's room.

As always, I look forward to all critical, constructive, and less serious comments!

I think the monster has developed quite well. Just a few basic questions again - sorry if this has already been mentioned. When you follow several threads, you don’t keep every detail in mind: You really want the granny flat. Who was that intended for? The nanny? In #1 it says you want to have the possibility to rent out an apartment and simply separate the floors. Is this goal still being pursued? I only see the granny flat separated here. Will the lower left and right be rented out separately later? If you look at it now, only the granny flat actually has its own separated domain. The tenant practically runs right through your house all the time. The staircase as a separation is not enough - that’s not its job. On the contrary, it connects 2 floors. It’s like a stranger running through my hallway every day. Accordingly, the tenant also hears everything you do up there. He uses your wardrobe, spreads his dirt there, and if he feels like it, sneaks upstairs and secretly steals your silverware. Do you understand? There is no front door between your tenant and you. That would be an absolute deal breaker for me. But otherwise, I think it’s quite nice. Quickly tell me again, why are you planning everything yourself? Is it impossible to find a good architect for the Mio project?

What I also wonder: I see no reason why the living areas should not be traditionally connected to the garden on the ground floor and all the bedrooms upstairs?

A distant view is, in my opinion, literally a higher pleasure than a lawn view.
