The idea would be to have the entrance centrally on the north side on the ground floor. The carport on the north. On the ground floor, an additional 2 children’s rooms on the east with a small bathroom. On the west, a small apartment, which is intended either for older children, au pair, visitors, etc., not for rent.
On the upper floor, living on the east with an adjacent terrace because the view is best there. On the west, the parents’ bedroom with bathroom. In the south in the middle, a room (e.g., children’s room as long as the kids are small; study; guest room).
The rest goes underground.

Light comes through a lift-and-slide door measuring 2.5 x 2.4 m and a balcony door. It could of course be more. But the plot is as it is. Building higher is not possible as it is not permissible. If you swap the bed and kitchen, should it fit better?

Somehow the slope height does not fit with the 1st floor. Why is the new floor plan so deep? Old basement partially with daylight New basement no daylight Old ground floor daylight everywhere New ground floor hillside no daylight. New floor plan Small apartment becomes a dark hole. Why separated from the living level and garden access?

Unfortunately, I can only offer you Google Earth. View to the northeast. In the other direction there is a slope and forest.

True. The house stands further west and is rotated. So further into the slope. In previous designs, the embankment to the northern neighbor was dug out. Therefore, the basement was partially exposed. The house stood further forward (east). Currently no terrain change at the neighbor’s property, but stone terracing in the south.
Once WITH and once WITHOUT terrain point cloud.

Here the original terrain in white.

For sun-lovers it is probably not suitable. However, the legal requirements are easily met.

I find it too dark. If the windows were evenly distributed, it might work. You have an area that always needs light.

What are you doing with the basement?
