The toilet directly next to the kitchen and dining table... that doesn’t work. It’s also uncomfortable for guests when they get up from the table and then go to the toilet right next to them, everyone hears everything. I would rather plan a storage room there.
Why does every child have to have their own bathroom, wouldn’t a children’s bathroom be more sensible? You have two toddlers, I would be afraid that one child turns on the water and leaves it running or fills the bathtub and I don’t notice because the bathroom is in the children’s area.

Best regards
Sabine

Guest WC I agree with, if the revenge of Confucius strikes a visitor, that will be rather semi-exciting for everyone involved, so "quiet spot" should be taken literally and therefore placed elsewhere. Otherwise, I think the ground floor is good. Basement: the dark corridor from the house entrance to the entrance of the granny flat gets really gloomy, of course that's not priority number one, but nice and inviting is something else. Upper floor: I would remove the door between the dressing room and the bedroom in the parents' area without replacement. It will be 90% open anyway because otherwise the dressing room becomes a cramped space and at night on the way to the toilet half asleep it's always in the way... you don't need it, there's a door at the front anyway.

I agree. Guests certainly don’t want to be overheard during their bathroom visits, and conversely, you probably don’t want to hear that either.
Why is it important to you that each child has their own bathroom? Double the costs, double the cleaning, but only half the space (per person). When a third child arrives at the latest, the concept becomes unfair.

Confusing K´ung Fu Tzu and Moctezuma, I find at least more likeable than a toilet door into the living room
