From the original thread (to the fence, where the house was still a finite element in the site plan) the information did not come along here: what is being built is a Bien-Zenker Celebration 125, composed of several versions, and then further individualized in the floor plan (but with unchanged house dimensions). The wall constructions "Effizienzhaus 55 (Öko) Thermo" have a total thickness of 336 mm.

I will probably not get around to visualizing suggested changes this week. Until then, just this much: get away from the computer drawing. Print out the original plan in several variants, there are enough on the website, and then take scissors and puzzle it around. Scanning the result is enough, for the discussion here and also with the architect. She does not import the drawing as a file for further processing anyway.

The right door of the living room (to the hallway) opens inward and is hinged on the left. It should be hinged on the right. Otherwise, you regularly bump into it or have to take detours around the door.

Our dressing room is about 2.80 meters wide and 1.75 meters deep, closed off by a sliding door across the entire width. The movement area minus the wardrobes is 1.50 x 1.35 meters, and is thus almost square. I see such a dimension as an absolute minimum. You only have 86 cm. That really doesn’t work. At least 120 cm, preferably 140 cm.

Moreover, the planned 50 cm on the left and right will not fit. And even the middle part with 2x75 cm will not fit between the corner elements. We have 150 cm at 38 cm depth and 325 cm at 60 cm depth. The corner wardrobes are really rubbish (you can’t get anything in there). Better to take a 60 cm one in 100 cm length and a 38 cm one placed crosswise in front. In the created corner go winter jackets and other rarely used clothing.

I like such high bands of light, but you have to want that and the outside appearance has to allow it.

But I repeat myself: You’re putting the cart before the horse. The main thing is that wardrobes and privacy screens are in place; everything else just has to follow that...

Let your architect do HIS job. He’s getting a lot of money for it (from you!).

And a bathroom door that opens into the hallway is still not common, but it has its justification.

The emergency services appreciate it when someone falls unconscious from the shithouse. By the way, it is mandatory in barrier-free houses/apartments. Also normal in hospitals and newer public buildings.

Disadvantage: The door, if not closed, constantly stands more or less in the way of traffic.

The architect needs to know where to move the walls and how the staircase is wound. I would only discuss door swings in this working sketch for her where a specific swing direction is desired.

I forgot to mention in all the planning (especially the WC) that my boyfriend is about 2 meters tall

Thanks for the completion You can be relied on. Thanks for wanting to take some time eventually. I will update here what the architect says about my little plans. I've already sent them over.

I would really like a dressing room like yours I still have to tape it off on the floor with masking tape today and see how it looks. And then go to Ikea again and see what a Pax feels like. But it looks like I actually have to plan it deeper... I got the first plans from the architect and I didn’t like them at all. That’s how it came about that I wanted to do the preliminary drafts myself. She plans very much according to the standard and you can tell that someone who will not live in the house later is sitting there. To make it actually look the way I like it, I would have to sit next to her for days and show her what I want. Then I might as well just do it myself and then listen to her suggestions for improvement afterwards. I’ve already visited a house that was planned without including the furniture. Then the sofa stands in front of a floor-to-ceiling window or something because nobody thought in advance how much space is needed for it. You know what I mean? Without furniture, I would now simply move the wall of the dressing room closer to the bed and later realize: Whoa, where is the dresser with the TV supposed to go? I can no longer fit it in that way. Just as an example. Wanted to explain why I am approaching the matter so strangely.

Oh, I’m slowly going crazy It feels like I’m just going in circles. If I completely take out the dressing room now and just put in a big closet instead, then the door will hit the closet and there will be no wall left for the dresser and TV again. I’m really losing it.

No, pull a wall unit in an L shape around the corner. Then you put a short room-height wall panel to the side, behind the dresser. Well, now I have to get going, before closing time God put diligence.
