Two quick points: With children, you will never be alone on the toilet again, believe me. And if "Schatzi" also comes to play poker, then he either doesn't spend enough time with you or the child/children [emoji6]
I love it when people teach me that life with children is only good for the backside. I briefly thought that many "problems" would be solved if we only planned one children's room... but I am an only child myself and have always wished for siblings... hmm
Hehe, that's not what I meant. It's fun, but life just becomes different. I can say, once a child is there, you simply take certain things into account differently in planning, just because you know about certain "difficulties".
Unfortunately, the "draft" *cough* of the architect is not dimensioned, which does not solve the problem with the furniture in particular, but yes, they like to be drawn "smaller". However, you can see that the sample floor plan (that probably fits better) takes many things from it into account that you have made worse.
I have learned since my childhood that when you enter the bathroom, you lock the door and under no circumstances does anyone else come in
Unfortunately, Robson was faster than me, but you quickly forget the thing about locking it. We have closers (instead of keys) on the bathrooms. My children are 1 and 3. And the flathead screwdriver lies on the shelf right next to the bathroom door.
So I have two children and I always lock the bathroom door (when using the toilet). From a certain age, of course, the children also always lock it, such locks (as mentioned above) are of course needed.
Unfortunately, the "draft" *ahem* of the architect is not dimensioned, which particularly does not solve the problem with the furniture, but yes, they like to draw them "smaller." However, you can see that the sample floor plan (that fits better) takes many things into account that you have made worse.
Toxic is so right here. You are making all this fuss just to get this niche and, sorry, you are ruining everything with it. Because honestly, the sample design (the architect probably had nothing to do with that) fits everything except this storage space. You are building with a basement, and in such a small house, it will be difficult to fit everything in. But you can make a tall cabinet in the kitchen for "household," where cleaning supplies and the vacuum cleaner can go. And for the drinks, dear, then your sweetheart will just have to jump and fetch them from the basement.
