Do you know me??
I don't think so. You shouldn't judge things you don't know 100%.
In the apartment where I live, there has always been a place from our family where we visited our grandma when she was young, we also have to sleep somewhere.
In other words, it could not be rented out. Furthermore, I invested 20k.
Finally, I have to tell you that you have no idea how happy my grandma is that she has help in the house who helps and takes care, since my grandpa died 12 years ago.
Where is the NAIV??? Everyone is grateful that I am there and I help.

So please save yourself such comments.

Thanks first of all for your reply.

But no matter how I twist or turn it, I can’t make heads or tails of it.
€85 per month for groceries, if you exclusively cook yourself? How is that supposed to work? That’s €2.75/day for 2-3 meals. How is that possible? Seriously! I myself go shopping twice a week and seriously wonder how you can buy all the groceries for the equivalent of €19/week so that you can cook/eat from them for 1 week?!?
Your two insurances also interest me: if you have a motorcycle, one of those is probably for the motorcycle.
The other insurance? What about disability/accident/liability insurance? And that doesn’t even start with luxury insurances (dental prosthetics, etc.).
What about retirement provision?
If you make 15 sheet pizzas etc. and always freeze everything, how many freezers do you have? Who actually pays the electricity for that? Grandma?

Sorry, but I find it a little bit surprising to present yourself here as a master saver when upon closer inspection it turns out that a large part of the expenses is covered by grandma.
Whether she does that out of gratitude or not is completely irrelevant. I don’t want to deny you her gratitude; on the contrary, I think it’s great that you take such good care of your grandma.
However, you also have to be honest with yourself sometimes.
If you build a house, your monthly costs will probably immediately rise to €1000 or more, depending on how high the loan installment for the house is.
An installment around €1000/month is quickly reached, plus operating costs.
We are at a €1200 loan installment with total costs of €1700/month just for the house, including gas, water, electricity, garbage collection, GEZ, house insurances, internet/phone, etc.

How does your girlfriend actually feel about your way of life?

Does she save money as massively as you do? Is she not interested in vacations, etc.

Have you ever planned to have children? At the latest, when one is there, you can forget about your massive saving anyway.

Further up you write that the house is supposed to be paid for by you alone, but your girlfriend should then invest her equity. Does she even know what happens in case of a breakup?

Do you want to give her the money back then, or is she supposed to pay rent to you?

That your grandma is happy that you are there is perfectly clear, that’s not what this is about at all.

What I want to say to you, and others here as well, is that your whole calculation here is nonsense. €2000 monthly is really not much when you have to support your life with a home and all costs yourself. Just the costs I mentioned will amount to at least €400-500. Banks also calculate with flat rates; your €290 living costs, which are about 30% below Hartz IV, will provide maximum amusement. Sorry, but that is somewhat naive.

Breakfast is the same every day.
It is a six-grain porridge with bananas, apples (apples from our own cultivation). Costs about €2 per week.
I have already described lunch.
For dinner, there is a snack (I often make the bread myself, I buy 25 kg of grain which is then ground and made into bread). The rest is sausage and cheese.
In summer, there is usually salad from the garden. Costs almost nothing. I do this for health reasons and as a hobby.

Liability insurance and motorcycle, I don't have anything else.

She has always had a (1) freezer chest and that is enough. If you are technically savvy, you surely know that a full freezer chest uses less electricity than a half-full one.

I have NEVER called myself a frugal master. These are facts. And you questioned the facts, and I am trying to explain them to you.

Which part does she cover? Water, electricity, gas. Let that be €200 per month.
€200 x 12 months is €2400 per year.
I have invested €20,000. Thus
€20,000 : €2400 equals 8.33 years.

She does not save quite as extremely as I do but she saves.
Children planned at about 31.
I never claimed that she should use her equity.

I never claimed that my costs would remain the same. This is the current situation. I know that I am not an ordinary citizen and that I sometimes have an extreme lifestyle. I just don't understand why I am constantly portrayed as a liar. And it is claimed that I am exploiting my grandma.

I am not an inhuman being.
