What are you referring to with all this nonsense?

If I have learned one thing in all the courses and seminars, it is to consider the perspective of others.
Sure, I might have hoped for more, but I am still glad for the answers I received.
I am firmly convinced that I am not a normally thinking person either, see my lifestyle.

There are certainly readers who can benefit from the countless answers.

Living life to the fullest means doing what makes you happy. If at some point near the end you just let everything pass by and think more about missed opportunities than about the things you did, you have messed it up. How much money is in the bank at that moment then doesn’t matter at all.

Whether vacation trips now belong to the things that bring you deep satisfaction is up to you. I know more people who go on vacation because "that’s just what you do" than those for whom traveling is truly important.

By the way, I often recommend taking photos of things you have accomplished and that make you happy, if possible, and creating a very simple album. It greatly helps satisfaction when you leaf through it in quiet moments and see how many great things you have already done. You always draw on good memories.

Living life to the fullest is the right thing. What that really means for you, , you have to define yourself. You can think deeply about it and make a list of things you definitely want to do and achieve in life.

I hope only 180... But if you want and like it that way now, then everything is fine.

I myself also take a vacation. You don’t necessarily have to go away. I once went hiking for 10 days in the Sauerland. Just around the corner from the Ruhr area, great landscape, hardly any people (=peace), remote villages, lucky with the weather. The rest of the 3 weeks I chilled at home. I made it as nice as I like it. So why travel at all?

But everyone as they want.

I definitely prefer a good day on the balcony to a good day at the airport terminal, just because in life you’re supposed to have been to Madeira at least once. Besides, the food is better here. The curse of all those who can cook themselves.

In that regard, I am somewhat similar to the OP. But much less ascetic.
