No, I addressed the fundamental question of what effects a bungalow vs two-story house with a similar floor area has on additional/reduced costs for painting work. Ceilings are generally also more difficult to paint than walls... The absolute amount in the quote to the questioner also seems rather high to me. By the way, I have had very good experiences with painting fleece. After that, you can also easily paint over it yourself.

Just remember that without painter's fleece, you will get some cracks in the walls over the next months/years. These are common settlement cracks, which are covered up with painter's fleece. Not serious, but don't get upset about it. It can be very few or all over the walls.

We've been in for almost half a year now, and some subtle cracks can already be seen, but so far they don’t bother at all, as they are not in the line of sight. :p

Maybe try searching for craftsmen on the internet who wouldn’t be considered a professional company. The site with the hammer or a classified ads site helps.
