Bungalow with 40-degree roof pitch still nice?

Ugly. I’m looking at one or two houses. Just not acceptable. I no longer find Mycraft’s house has nice proportions. It may be that my opposite houses only have 35 degrees – that’s not nice.

Anyone who needs space at all and/or in the attic floor does not build a bungalow. It is also not a bungalow if you plan living rooms there. And then a gable roof would be more sensible anyway.

We really like a bungalow but with a hip roof and prefer it over houses with gable roofs.

In our new housing development, there is something like this. Unfortunately, no better picture available at the moment.

But, you also write That explains such statements. Currently, we do not live in times when the market is full of plots for a wish concert attitude. When your planning matures, the same will apply to the realization that some toads will have to be swallowed. And then, for example, a reality will appear around the corner that says: for the volume like under a 40° hip roof, 35° would be enough with a gable roof. That at least sounds like a candied toad.

In our development plan, a specific roof pitch was also prescribed (I think 35 to 45) and we are so glad that the exemption from it has been approved because our bungalow should not have a party hat as a roof. The architect argued that we would not gain living space due to the large roof angle and would incur significant additional costs. So exactly the opposite of you, but it really isn't nice.
