Wow, okay, then the price is probably not uncommon.
Exactly, that's not achievable for us either. Are you satisfied with your result? And may I ask how much it cost you in DIY effort?

If you don’t go directly up to the walls, you don’t notice anything. Nice, smooth, white walls.
In my opinion, it ranks as follows: worse than painter’s fleece, 100000x better than ugly textured wallpaper. All in all, it’s a good but not a very good result. But with a toddler and a pet, the walls get dirty or get dents quickly anyway – so it would be a shame for me to spend so much money on painter’s fleece. For that reason alone, I am happy with our decision.

Here is the offer. Does the painter stick with gold at your place? The offer was exactly as I calculated/planned. I wouldn’t be willing to pay double now. Then I would probably take 2 weeks off

Just the priming alone costs almost three times as much for you. Intense. The prices really vary a lot... I would be curious about what the hourly rates are

There is absolutely nothing against it if it meets your standards. We did it that way. Only filled and sanded the roughest spots, there was no time for more, and then painted white. Only in the hallway did I paint textured roll plaster, the gypsum plaster was too delicate for me in the hallway. Otherwise, there are a few spots that could look nicer. But most are covered by furniture and plants anyway, pictures and curtains hang there. In autumn, I will color some walls again. And maybe apply some textured plaster. But that can always be done later.
