That sounds good I also think we will manage it well and there really won't be many bare walls.

Just remember that without painter’s fleece you will get some cracks in the walls over the next months/years. These are typical settlement cracks that are concealed with painter’s fleece. Not serious, but don’t get upset about it. It can be very little or all over the walls.

P.S. Roll plaster is also a suitable means to conceal walls that are not quite perfect (but it does not help against settlement cracks). You can also color it as desired, then it’s like painting.

We moved in October and have had no cracks so far, at least no visible ones (what is behind the cabinets I do not know). I am curious if they will still appear, but I don't really expect it anymore. So you can also be lucky.

However, you have to like Rollputz in the long run. Getting that stuff off again is also an art in itself....

Nothing. We did it that way as well.

Of course… wasn’t it actually supposed to be a bungalow??

It’s not a bungalow either…

I wouldn’t choose roughcast plaster either.

You have to know what you can and want to do yourself. And what you want to have.
We managed well with the paint in EL. Scaffold built inside and then went at it with muscle power… Now, after 8 years, you can see a lot of cracks!! How to deal with them you can decide then, but also now.

1. do it yourself 2. if not, inquire regionally yourself probably the price is high because the capacity utilization is high. Take it or leave
