Doesn't cork flooring insulate too much with underfloor heating?
I have dealt with the topic for a long time and was initially put off because cork naturally insulates very well. I read a lot and then spoke with several experts in stores.
--> If the manufacturer has approved the cork flooring (yes, even floating cork click parquet) for warm water underfloor heating, then it works. The insulation under the screed is even higher. If the thermal resistance of the floor is not higher than 0.16 m2K/W, then it works perfectly.
The floor covering then reacts noticeably slower (compared to, for example, a tile), but the room warms just as well. No higher flow temperature is necessary.
We will also go for cork click parquet (floating installation) in the bedroom and children's rooms. If you invest a little money there (not excessively much), you get a great, ecological, warm-underfoot, and robust floor.
