Why is that illogical?

I do not doubt in the slightest that KS has better sound insulation; this is especially evident in 11 cm interior walls. However, I claim that sound insulation no longer plays a role in 36er monolithic exterior masonry. Nothing more and nothing less.

Rhenish regards

How can this be explained physically (that it no longer plays a role) when the weight or mass of the stone is very different?
One might just say that in a quiet residential area you hardly hear a difference inside, but if I have a party at night, it will indeed make a difference for the neighbors who might be sleeping with the window open...

As I wrote above, the 24er sand-lime brick masonry is three times as massive as the 36er aerated concrete masonry. Is the soundproofing with the 36er aerated concrete already so good that no further improvement is possible? I can hardly believe that, because a friend of mine lives in such a house – the soundproofing there feels rather poor, although it could of course also be due to the windows.

So my BU told me yesterday that from 36.5 it doesn't matter and even from 30 it's not that noticeable anymore.

So it seems to be a common opinion.

And what about inside the house? From the outside, the windows are probably largely the "bottleneck" or the limiting factor. Inside the house, however, at least compared to the prefab house, it is like night and day. I can play an action movie downstairs at a really decent volume, and even at night you don't hear much upstairs.

Then put 11 cm KS and 17.5 cm KS inside for the load-bearing walls. On the outside then 36 cm monolithic. Wouldn't that be an option?
