We are building in Bavaria. Current status: Plot of land purchased and paid for 90K including incidental costs. House price 164 sqm without basement 286K (air heat pump with inverter + solar collectors + wood stove) KfW 40+ or passive (yet to be determined) Painter + flooring done by ourselves. (approx. 6K) Kitchen + doors + stairs through a carpenter 44K. Incidental building costs including 2 floor slabs (house + storage room (20 sqm)) preparation of driveway, terrace and parking spaces, cistern 45K. House connections approx. 5K Photovoltaic system with storage 17K In total we are at 493K including land, a quite realistic but compared to other places in the immediate neighborhood rather affordable price. Whether a few more bucks will be added remains to be seen. Funding programs KfW photovoltaic storage, 10,000 houses program, energy consultant fee Through a prefabricated house company we would have ended up more expensive, had a ready-to-sign offer from the company Streif Haus for 120 sqm nothing special just the house 292,000 € without BP but also with own work. (walls, floor, plastering etc.) We are now building with a regional timber construction company. I believe a comparison is always worthwhile. Regional companies do not have to factor in exorbitant administrative costs into the house prices. Travel distances are shorter and they have their regular craftsmen with whom they work cheaply. Furthermore, the interaction is usually more friendly
