The garage is fine.
But what bothers me is the basic location of the house: pressed against the northern edge, as if no space was needed there.
You have endless space in the front, for example, not for drying laundry from the utility room. Also, there are things and stuff that you would rather do or store somewhat hidden, for example trash bins, composters, wood.
You have a huge property with two possible driveways, but want a hidden entrance.
For me, the house is not optimized for the property; I would possibly also consider rotating the main structure by 90 degrees and arrange the living spaces accordingly so that you can enjoy the evening sun inside the house as well as on the property. Because in summer it is at half past ten.
All this would be obvious if you currently have to call all the important rooms on the ground floor, the dressing room and bathroom upstairs non-optimal.
What kind of architect is that who merely sketches your ideas? Is he employed by the general contractor?
