Preliminary floor plan for single-family house

4.2 m multimedia wall? The kid in me finds that almost worship-worthy.. But in reality, I wouldn't have any use for it, and it doesn't make the TV program any better either, my TV consumption has massively decreased in recent years.
I could just about fit a 4.2 m wall in our living room. I've attached our ground floor layout (not quite final yet, but almost). Our house layout is basically square, with a plot size of 650 sqm.
You have more leeway because your plot is bigger. But first, you should consider where the access roads fit, where the entrance should be, where the terrace is. A lot then falls into place automatically.

May I ask what price range your house will be in? And how many sqm of living space you will have in total?

Home office downstairs removed and moved to the upper floor, then you can play a bit with the living room. The rooms upstairs would have to be a bit smaller (especially with the mega large children's rooms, but no problem).

So now I have a bay window version with recessed living-dining room. As a layman, I would say this version is more expensive than V1.0 (due to the bay window/insulation canopy etc.), or what do you think? The living room still seems too small to me

PS: A "home theater" is much more expensive than a cinema in the basement because the WAF is eliminated here

If I build an extra room... say 20 sqm, I have additional costs of about 40,000 EUR. If I build an extra basement for it (with a white tank only in our case)... we are talking about 80,000 EUR in additional costs. You see what I mean?

May I know in which price range your house will be? And how many square meters of living space you will have in total?

The target is 180 sqm with a focus on a large living-dining room + double garage.
Estimate 1500(1700)€/m2 house; for the garage I estimate 30000.
But I will only find out more precisely later or let myself be surprised.

, we are building with a general contractor and are at about 175 sqm (177 sqm, I believe, to be exact) plus 95 sqm basement and with basement and everything included, we come to roughly 2000 €/sqm for the house. Only referring to the living area, so 350k€. That includes everything except the parquet, which is still additional. We are building a "somewhat upscale average standard," nothing extravagant but also not a total budget version. In the final selection, however, about 10k€ will be added for better front and interior doors. I would have liked to keep it a bit cheaper, but all the offers were in that range; you probably can’t get it much cheaper here in Bavaria these days. With standard cuts, we could have gone down to 310k€, but we didn’t want that. Best regards, Andreas

You're right... I overlooked that. Check out the GrobiTV channel on YouTube. A cinema enthusiast simply built a small cinema in his garden there.
