Hello everyone,

after careful consideration, we have decided to build a house based on the "Lego" principle. Unfortunately, we can find only very few providers online (actually only one) who also offer some support. It is important to us that we always have a contact person and that someone is present during the pouring of the walls. So far, we have only been able to find the company Argisol here.
Do you perhaps know of any companies from the northern German area that offer this principle?
When I look at sites like VariantHaus or similar, it seems as if they only provide the material and the builder is then completely on their own.

Well, you didn't want a fundamental discussion anyway

The construction method is certainly not very common up here. That's why you can only take what is available. Ultimately: it's not a big secret if you can do it right now. We ourselves know the system from the Scandinavian countries and have built quite a bit with it. It's basically Lego for grown-ups. You must not have two left hands, meaning it's definitely not for the well-built blonde from the advertising brochures.

Whether you then order the whole thing through a "GU" (in big "") or directly from Poland/France/wwi is all a matter of price

Fortunately, manual skills are present, but that doesn't help much if you don't get any "assistance".

We are not necessarily bound to this system. Our goal is to build a single-family house of about 150sqm - 170sqm for approximately €200,000 - €210,000. The plot is already fully developed and additional costs would of course be on top of that.

Perhaps there is still an alternative that would allow the whole thing to be realized? We would like to do the electrical work and interior finishing (tiles, etc.) ourselves. Of course, in the Lego construction method, also the shell construction.

Why don't you write about an architect? Have the shell construction erected and then just continue building on your own.

A colleague built with Euromac bricks. He erected the shell construction with friends. He would build that way again. He also tried to make this system appealing to us.

What use is a tender if the number of providers is severely limited from the outset? It doesn't. In addition, you first have to find an "independent" architect who is product-neutral and familiar with such a system. That's already like finding a needle in a haystack. Other possibilities? Of course there are, the question is just, do you want to overturn your fairly fixed opinion? You can also have a timber frame shell built and then continue from there, that will get you into good insulation regions. But again, there's the problem: you need a plan for that and good timber frame architects are also rare. In the end, you first need a plan. 150-170 sqm (no matter how they are defined now) at 200 k€ with a lot of own effort initially does not seem impossible...

First of all, thank you very much for your comments
: Maybe I didn’t come across correctly, I am not really fixated on this construction method. As long as it is possible / realistic within our budget to realize our "dream house" with another construction type, I am open to everything
I have now contacted various construction companies and am having some offers made.

I just found this Neopor system interesting, regardless of the known risks
