That fits quite well with my calculation. It just shouldn't have cost more than €6k. With current prices, however, you quickly end up at €10k. Then it looks bad.

Mine cost exactly €6,000. In 10 years I will see whether it was worth it or not.

However, it must also be said that the values this year are much lower due to the remote shutdown of Senec at the beginning of the year. Last year I drew over 2,600 kWh from the storage.

It is exhausting... really exhausting...
Laypeople show colorful pictures and smugly rejoice because they save a few cents/kWh... but do not consider the investment and follow-up costs... yet those few cents/kWh will never save the purchase cost of the storage in the long run, currently usually not even the purchase cost of the photovoltaic system...

And when you ask for a full cost calculation... really, really honest, I would be very happy about something like that...
You only get statements of faith again, along the lines of "The installer said..." or "Sanierer23 says: Yeah sure, it’s worth it, finance/renovate with me, then it’s worth it for both of us... or at least for one... ;)"

People... what makes you believe that a storage system is worthwhile for you with photovoltaics?
Look at the load profile of the sun with photovoltaics and then at the load profile of your house... it is IRRinsanity and a waste of resources... period.

Most of the time you are right with this statement, at today's prices almost always. However, there are certainly constellations in which it works. I have been doing full cost accounting from the beginning.

Can you give an example of such a constellation? What is it based on? Consumer? System constellation? Energy efficiency of the house? For me, that is always hard to grasp.

A storage system can be worthwhile if you produce enough surplus on as many days as possible to fully charge the battery and thus cover exactly the night. So as many battery cycles per year as possible. The more unused capacity you have (because you don’t fully charge it in winter or don’t fully empty it in summer) the less economical it becomes. Overall, you can do a simple rough calculation by dividing the expected total discharge capacity the battery can deliver over its lifetime by the costs. Example: 6kWh battery, with 4000 charge/discharge cycles equals 24,000 kWh that I can draw from the battery. If it costs 5000€, then I have 5000€/24,000kWh = 0.21€/kWh. At the same time, you might lose about 8 cents feed-in tariff, so the kWh from the battery would then already cost 29 cents. Then there is the question of whether you can achieve the stated cycles and in what time frame. If you don’t complete a cycle daily, maybe about 200 cycles per year, then 4000 charge cycles amount to 20 years! The battery probably won’t last that long. Then the calculation gets significantly worse. If it only lasts 10 years during which you manage 200 cycles per year, then the kWh costs already 42+8 cents. (All values here are very rough estimates) Summarized again: Calculate maximum discharge capacity by factoring in cycles per year and expected lifetime and divide that by the costs. Cycles per year depend on the (time-related) pattern of electricity consumption, storage, and solar system. House efficiency, etc., only play a role within the context of electricity consumption.
