In the fenced-off area, yes, sure, it can be a cool idea. But as a fence? Never! Just trying to get approval for that is hopeless. Such a thing is classified as a machine in Europe, and there is a machinery directive and CE marking for that. It just doesn’t work.

Aside from the fact that the efficiency of a wind turbine at 0-2 m height will be pretty poor. There are reasons why wind turbines nowadays have hub heights of 100-150 m.

Yes, those are the things I mean. You can probably make them approvable with a kind of cage.
If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t exist!

Surely, those things won’t be as effective as large wind turbines. But for that, you can place them in large numbers right in the middle of the village.

I see it like .. you can't always just block yourself right away because there are still open problems for a solution. Parallelism currently also includes balcony power plants, they are not the big thing, but they work according to the principle "every little bit helps". I have recently become the owner of such a balcony power plant as a tenant and am currently happy about every watt that I do not draw from the general grid but instead "produce myself", despite winter and currently rather cloudy weather than very sunny weather. And even if only my router and the home office lighting benefit from it ;). That was at least my calculation for the days with very little yield.

There does not have to be THE universal solution for everything and everyone. Not all open questions have to be answered at once.

So, it's me again. I have actually found someone through detours and acquaintances who will install a system on the roof with me (he also has a side business and is appropriately qualified) and I thus come to nearly 14 kWp for about 1200€ per kWp. For that price, I am more than satisfied ;)
