I’ll do that, thanks for the tip!

Of course, more would fit, that was an initial offer adjusted to our estimated consumption with a heat pump. I don’t think the price/performance ratio will get better with that offer :D

We pay 24,000 euros including installation for 12.87 KWp without storage. Delivery this year in Rheinland-Pfalz.

Quite a proud price. But 6kwp adjusted to a consumption of household electricity + heat pump? Where is the point in that? I would, as i_b_n_a_n already writes, fully optimize both sides. That way you have a lot of surplus in summer and thus finance part of your consumption in winter. And with a capacity of 13kwp and more, you at least have enough production on sunny winter days to buffer some of the base load. With the currently rising electricity costs, you'll save a lot very quickly.

Why offers are made "matching the estimated consumption" will probably remain one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of mankind and at the same time one of the dumbest arguments from providers. I have not seen any offer where the kWp did not significantly decrease between about a 6 kWp and a 13 kWp system (but what is significant today anyway?) The offer is not that bad when you consider the price including the storage. I believe it includes the inverter and quite a few display and evaluation options. Even though many say storage does not pay off, I say it depends on the kWh price and the electricity price in the future. The alternative is to bet on the future and stagnating or falling electricity prices, but unfortunately I believe most who bet on that lose.

Although that is actually cooked the books again. Because the storage is completely off target in terms of design. Too big for the system and probably also too big for electricity consumption in the summer.

At 30 degrees, I wouldn’t fill up North completely. With those prices, it’s never worth it, is it?!
