Yes, we are out and about in parks.

Why cost and time reasons? Time because of the shorter waiting time?
And why cost?

The thing is, all prefab houses have KFW 55. I've read that with solid houses it gets much more expensive because of the insulation. Although the appointment with Heinz von Heiden is still pending.

Who did you build with, if I may ask?

I am currently in the final phase. We are planning with a Town & Country partner where we have visited numerous houses. Cost and time reasons: well, a good timber frame house does not cost less than a solid one. And yes, the wooden house goes up quickly, the outer shell. Then the interior construction begins, and depending on whether you do it yourself or have it done, it takes time or it costs. And regarding KfW 55, there is always the question, do you need it? Many houses come close to the 55 values but are not classified as such. I almost don’t care what kind of label is on it, as long as the consumption fits in the end. And there are different wall constructions, also with solid houses.

Cool, you’re almost there!

We still have all that ahead of us.
Are you satisfied with Town & Country? I also have an appointment there.
Is the standard good there? Is Town & Country transparent in terms of costs? I’m afraid that afterwards
there will be a nasty awakening. Because they all like to embellish...

As I said, with Town & Country it usually doesn't stay at the standard...
Abloa was okay with the acquaintances...

We also requested for several different types of solid construction methods. In the end, it hardly mattered which stone was used, only a higher energy standard cost extra.

We also compared several house building companies (Heinz von Heiden, Town & Country) and numerous general contractors. This was only possible by comparing the [Bauleistungsbeschreibung] alone. When adjusting the individual [Bauleistungsbeschreibung]s, Heinz von Heiden suddenly became 40K€ more expensive O.O Town & Country was immediately ruled out because they could not realize our individual floor plan. With the house building companies, it was immediately noticeable that we were only sitting opposite salespeople with half-knowledge. But they were good at telling you what you wanted to hear.
