The thing is, all prefab houses have KFW 55. I've read that with solid houses it gets much more expensive because of the insulation. Although the appointment with Heinz von Heiden is still pending.

I am currently in the final phase. We are planning with a Town & Country partner where we have visited numerous houses. Cost and time reasons: well, a good timber frame house does not cost less than a solid one. And yes, the wooden house goes up quickly, the outer shell. Then the interior construction begins, and depending on whether you do it yourself or have it done, it takes time or it costs. And regarding KfW 55, there is always the question, do you need it? Many houses come close to the 55 values but are not classified as such. I almost don’t care what kind of label is on it, as long as the consumption fits in the end. And there are different wall constructions, also with solid houses.

When adjusting the individual [Bauleistungsbeschreibung]s, Heinz von Heiden suddenly became 40K€ more expensive O.O Town & Country was immediately ruled out because they could not realize our individual floor plan. With the house building companies, it was immediately noticeable that we were only sitting opposite salespeople with half-knowledge. But they were good at telling you what you wanted to hear.
