On both 2 floors, so so I am basically with you, what is sometimes being built today as overpriced houses is really crazy. What does American kitchen mean? According to my experience, that should rather be a downgrade and lead to a refund...

I believe that has very little to do with the place of residence. Did you include items in the offer before signing the contract or do you let yourselves be "surprised" during the sampling?

That is true, many people in the eastern federal states have lower, but still completely sufficient, demands. I also know people who want to build a house for under 100k€. Of course, this only works with Eastern European companies (Poland, Romania, etc.) and EL. Whether it all pays off can be seen later. However, much of what is sold under the guise of energy saving and ecology does not pay off in life. And one can ask oneself whether one really needs granite window sills, walk-in showers, ventilation, electric shutters, stainless steel rails, etc., or just simply wants them. I think quite a few people, especially in the German envy society, also do not want to stand behind their neighbor.

I actually just want to get to a specific point, maybe Brandt will still comment. And the topic "regenerative" is nice here in this context. It is the required solar thermal on the roof because of the gas condensing boiler (Town & Country standard, after all).

Obviously, the minimum requirements must be met. However, in Germany they are probably higher than in 99.x percent of the rest of the world...

It somehow isn’t quite clear. It’s about the oh-so-great renewable energy here, that’s why a fossil fuel is used. That’s nothing to be proud of or to boast about (I would rather keep it under wraps). And the awakening comes in the end when you consider that you might want one or the other little extra. I’m speaking from experience here, which is why I’m also toying a bit with the idea that I don’t believe everything is really included in the 148k.
