I agree with you that for toddlers the rooms are definitely too big, but as a teenager or in my case now also an adult, you simply want more space for girlfriend, friends, etc. the children surely don't care about that, which is exactly why I want such a large master suite as you nicely described. We will equip the children's bathroom so that we can separate all the things, i.e. everything related to the children will also take place in their bathroom, i.e. temporarily also a storage for cleaning supplies, etc. will be created in a cabinet, but I don't see the point in creating a separate room for that which would later disappear or not be used as often. I understand that sleep becomes a luxury, but the planning for children is only in 8-10 years and the incomes might suffer a little because of it, but the loan or the rate is adjusted so that we can finance the house even with only one income and also cover all the incurred costs (+vacation). How you live with children or how life shifts and changes I have seen with relatives and I have to honestly say that as soon as the family lives nearby, it is really quite pleasant and takes a load off your shoulders.

My statement was not aimed at your financing, but really only at the desired Vorstellungen.

In your early 20s with two incomes, you dream of a loft, some luxury, some glossy magazine style.
Children yes - please do not disturb.

Then comes the baby and toddler phase, where the standard floor plans you see with a utility room upstairs and everything open downstairs are simply good (not built by chance so many).

Then the time with teenagers.
There you build a concept like Hampshire.

Yes, afterwards you would build like Nordlys.

4 age groups with 4 different focuses.
You have to get them all under one roof.

I did not describe the children's rooms as too big.

About your parents' suite.
Mrs. awake all night - child sick. Finally sleeps. You get up, walk into the dressing room, get dressed. Child cries loudly, you walk through the bedroom to the children's room. Go back bedroom, dressing room, bath, again through the bedroom.
Access the parents' suite through the dressing room. 1 x out and peace is.

Laundry accumulates upstairs with and without children. It is not the case that washer and dryer are only used by parents. The room would not be useless.

So, after a bit of own editing and changes in the various proposals, there is now a draft that pleases both of us, hope everything can be seen on the pictures, in the bedroom there will be a shoulder-high window in the dressing/bathroom area, same in the K-bathroom, we like the staircase much better now, in the kitchen the projected free-standing cooking island is still missing, otherwise now only fine details regarding facade relief and details should remain

Just briefly
Bathtub is missing and draw a bed at the top in the bedroom.

Also try drawing furniture in the fireplace chamber. With a reasonable distance from the fireplace, so that the furniture doesn’t get roasted.

I would urgently separate the bathroom from the rest of the bedroom at least with a door. The open bathroom has absolutely no advantages, only disadvantages. If someone gets up at night to go to the toilet, they have to turn on the light, which also shines into the bedroom area; if they flush, you can definitely hear it in bed. If there was chili or kale, you can also hear other things you don’t want to hear and that are hardly romantic. Not to mention the smells. After chili, visiting the dressing room is no fun. We once had such an open concept in a hotel, awful. In the end, you will use the other bathroom for such things anyway, so you might as well skip it in the bedroom.
