I think you didn’t write it here ;) That clearly looks like an existing property to me. I could only understand later from your further floor plan thread that it is a new build. No. those are all things that we need to store somewhere in the house. On the upper floor we have a utility room + storage combined, plus the guest/office room, and on the ground floor the utility connection room, plus a large garage and the attic. That should only be understood as a suggestion of what you might have forgotten.

Sauerpeter, where do you think the bed should be placed? If a second door is to be added in the bedroom, you will have no option except to squeeze it into a corner. Basically: We understand that these are templates from the architect, shown as furniture. However, it is also necessary for you to draw your own furniture to scale in order to see the shortcomings of the design. Unfortunately, I cannot see any measurements, but I can think in terms of dimensions ;) and compare distances in the design. Thus, a living room in a square shape is difficult to zone, a bedroom or a bedroom closet needs a certain amount of space, and a bed also requires the corresponding space around it. Therefore, please draw your furniture in for yourself (and gladly for us) and realize that some things are not so simple or possible. Regarding the utility room: it seems very spacious, but in the end, you have a lot of empty space in the middle that is not usable for shelves or cabinets. I believe enough has already been said about the pantry. In my opinion, the room above for the third bathroom would be sufficient in size for a shower, toilet, and washbasin; there is probably no need to shift walls significantly. However, the others are also right about cleaning, etc. Greetings

A first idea would be to install a partial partition wall opposite the window in order to better utilize the center of the room. This could extend the space available for shelves without blocking the light.
Alternatively, you could place a half-height partition wall there with washing machine connections as a space for the washing machine and dryer, with a countertop above.

We also initially thought about a partition wall but didn't consider it further at first. However, I like the idea of a half-height wall better anyway :D
Thanks for that!
