I agree, family, friends, a warm hut, something to eat and plenty of free time and they are happy.

Either you have never been on a cruise or with Hurtigruten. Cruise ships are mega event castles for children and families. Just google what a large AIDA ship has to offer! A normal hotel in Mallorca can't compete with that.

So I can also have a week’s vacation with the same fun factor in the Oki Doki kid’s land for 25€. Spend tens of thousands of € for an event castle?

Wasn't the question here how to get it as cheaply as possible???

I often find this forum very amusing. People here confirm to each other how wealthy and above-average income-strong they are. But at the same time get totally biting when things are put into perspective or others simply have more.

I can afford cruises with my children. Without having to save elsewhere. I can also afford an expensive vacation at the North Sea in the same year. And still don’t have to save. It even easily comes out of current monthly income.

Switching to something cheaper with the same fun factor is possible, but why should I? That doesn’t bring me any added value in life. Maybe to you, because you have to prioritize. I don’t have to.

I don’t live in a bubble, nor am I spreading all my life backgrounds here.

Well then please keep out of everything that doesn’t concern you. You don’t have to lift your leg at every tree. ;)

Yes. Mind your own nose :)

No, I didn’t. I only responded ;)

Yeah yeah.. start talking about houses… first build one, but rant about it everywhere here. You notice that, right?
You are the lord of the leg-lift dogs notation this year here and still have to throw stones in a glass house.. well then, keep going :p

That is completely polemical and unobjective. One thing is clear: The goal is to vacation on a modern, stylish cruise ship, see new countries every day, look out over the water from your private balcony, and enjoy the finest food. In addition, there are incredibly many very friendly Filipino staff who anticipate your wishes (know what you drink every morning at breakfast/dinner, etc.). Many other cultures could take a page from that. This is simply beautiful luxury, which even I can afford without having to do without anything else. Anyone who makes such statements has probably never been on a cruise ship themselves.
