Such a statistic offers a point of reference. And even if, in your opinion, the statistic is driven up by these groups, around 3k per household per year is probably more than realistic. And one more thing on the topic of what children remember and what makes them happy: everyone, of course, mainly enjoys the time spent together. And how you spend it is just a matter of habit: those who have vacationed in luxury hotels since childhood are accustomed to this kind of vacation, while campers look forward to their camping vacation just as much every year. Just how you know it and have experienced it yourself with your family earlier.
