I, for one, have 3 girls and a boy, who all by now have their own families. They have not always done what was fair to us as parents, there were tears, crying and laughing, scolding and making up. And today I can proudly say that all of them, although none has a doctorate, have become decent people.

As my mother once said to me: "Having grandchildren is the sweetest revenge." I can confirm that.

How would I come to that? I have no leverage at all. But it simply does not contribute to a proper discussion where different experiences and opinions can be exchanged.

Do you actually react privately the same way as here? Then I can imagine what this "harmony" in your family looks like and it starts to give me chills ...

In my private life, no one comes at me like you do, so the question and your accusation do not apply to me.

Anyone who has to emphasize that they have the perfect son and the harmonious family most likely doesn’t have that at all in reality.
