Before buying a thousand-euro coffee machine that can’t even do that and then badmouthing TM users who spent less money on a device that can do much more.

You can enjoy coffee with a manual filter for a few euros + a grinder if you invest money in really good beans. It’s then without crema and other frills, but pure.

Maybe those machines pay off if they make something drinkable from average beans. You save a bit on the machine with every cup.

I don't make a science out of coffee. It has to taste good to me, and the machine achieves that. I don't need more. I also don't like champagne; I prefer the affordable Rotkäppchen.
