I love cooking and will never understand what Germany’s soup chefs see in the Thermomix. Actually a completely unnecessary device, but marketing wins.
That’s called sponsorship. VIPs just get certain things handed to them. Dieter Bohlen had three cars of different brands outside his door that he never ordered himself. He was allowed to use them for a year. (Knowledge status: 2005)
By the way, the main buyers of the Thermomix are women.
Yes, because of the pressure
My young colleagues with TM can no longer cut onions with a knife
But you did notice the subtle irony in the post by , right?
Of course But I didn’t feel like scrolling back again to get another prompt. Alex understands that.
The Thermomix is present, sometimes multiple times, in many fine dining restaurant kitchens.
See above.
Besides, it’s not used for cooking, but sometimes for mixing a portion or stirring a sauce at constant heat.
There’s nothing better for baking.
Other machines can stir too, it doesn’t have to be from Vorwerk. And the TM can’t bake either
We also make complete meals with it (beef roulades, sliced turkey, fish..)
That also works with a hot air fryer for €159 (or a similar device)
It’s been mentioned somewhere: status! Women buy Tupperware, HaRa and Vorwerk as well as jewelry. Everyone should see that you can afford it.
Miele, Apple, iPhone... Audi or Mini: if it’s important to keep up, you have it. Nobody questions anymore whether the thing is worth the money... then you get stubborn, have tons of arguments on how great and unique the thing is.
The crowning achievement here, to stay on the kitchen topic, is that there’s nothing better than the TM for baking.
