Well, I’m currently sitting in a living room with two of these fans running at level 2, and there’s no buzzing or humming here. All I hear right now is the refrigerator "gurgling." But it’s true, in the bedroom at night you can hear them. Still, even my wife got used to it quite quickly.

And that's exactly why I wanted to—intentionally a bit exaggerated, but with a winking smiley—warn about possible disadvantages. During the planning phase of a house, you can still consider many things. Once the walls and floor are finished, only the decentralized option remains.

True... my mistake as a greenhorn – after all the posts, I thought that a controlled residential ventilation would automatically mean a central controlled residential ventilation :-D – it’s come this far here – some should work for these ventilation system manufacturers, they are that convincing :D

I would really be interested to know which decentralized ventilation one can recommend with a "clear" conscience... Presumably, you have to get an impression on site yourself to see if the noise level of the device is acceptable.

I would be grateful for recommendations and NO – a central controlled residential ventilation is not feasible price-wise.

First, I would clarify that with the responsible specialist company, because they are the ones who will install it.
I myself have/had none, neither central nor decentralized.
If I were you, I would of course ask here in a separate thread, then look for information online and finally, as far as possible, see something like that live.

Exactly.
The problem is that the respective environment will not be comparable.
I think it is like with the heat pump. If you see the device and expect a noise, then you will hear it too. In your house it will never be completely quiet. I was once in the desert at a place where you heard nothing at all, that was almost frightening.

I can well understand that, and there are many users here who live quite well without controlled residential ventilation.
For my part, I do not believe that a second-rate controlled residential ventilation system exists; I rely on the architect I respect. Besides, I would have no desire to let others here spoil it for me. The more you focus on it, the more you will hear the thing afterwards!
People who are bothered by such things might find a loud 12-cylinder car cool, unnecessary, humming technology, or have pointless noise in daily life.
So I do not want to sugarcoat that but I am not a fan of black-and-white thinking or "it only works like this," that also applies for me to controlled residential ventilation. Most devices have some side effects and these are accepted.

Do not overlook the external noise in decentralized systems. Are you building in a quiet environment or is there, for example, increased traffic noise?

After all the back and forth, we decided on a controlled residential ventilation system. I was skeptical at first, but many positive reviews convinced me.
