I would really be interested to know which decentralized ventilation system can be recommended with a "clear" conscience...
First, I would clarify that with the responsible specialist company, because they are the ones who will install it.
I myself have/had none, neither central nor decentralized.
If I were you, I would of course ask here in a separate thread, then look for information online and finally, as far as possible, see something like that live.
Presumably, you have to get an impression on site yourself whether the noise level of the device is acceptable.
Exactly.
The problem is that the respective environment will not be comparable.
I think it is like with the heat pump. If you see the device and expect a noise, then you will hear it too. In your house it will never be completely quiet. I was once in the desert at a place where you heard nothing at all, that was almost frightening.
NO – a central controlled residential ventilation is not feasible price-wise.
I can well understand that, and there are many users here who live quite well without controlled residential ventilation.
For my part, I do not believe that a second-rate controlled residential ventilation system exists; I rely on the architect I respect. Besides, I would have no desire to let others here spoil it for me. The more you focus on it, the more you will hear the thing afterwards!
People who are bothered by such things might find a loud 12-cylinder car cool, unnecessary, humming technology, or have pointless noise in daily life.
So I do not want to sugarcoat that but I am not a fan of black-and-white thinking or "it only works like this," that also applies for me to controlled residential ventilation. Most devices have some side effects and these are accepted.
