Interim question from a layperson:
Is an air conditioning system combined with a [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], meaning the air is cooled and then distributed throughout the house, or is a parallel system necessary, as one knows it, for example, from an office, so that in addition to the air outlet of the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], a split unit hangs in each room?

Should it be cheap and fast or complicated and expensive?

But to answer your question: Even though both devices are responsible for air distribution, both systems are basically very different in their function.

Thus: No, with the controlled residential ventilation you can't really cool even if a cooling cassette is available. But you always get fresh air.

Cooling through [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] is only possible with very high effort. This no longer has anything to do with "normal" [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung].

A colleague told me that somewhere in Asia, in a hotel, they no longer have any heaters but only air conditioning with heating included in the rooms. In other words, one device for everything. Something like "to hell with electricity costs, as long as it works."

You can find that everywhere, even the French with their cheap nuclear power used to heat like that.

Briefly about controlled residential ventilation: ours runs through, currently 37 degrees outside, completely darkened inside at 6 pm 23 degrees. Without shading, we easily have 26 degrees and more, with the door to the garden open even 30.
