The freight is above [Garage/Entrance], right? Somehow I'm missing the point. Can you please torture some graph paper for me?

You are right.
Garage/entrance in the east, terrace in the south, long lawn area in the west, and narrow path in the north.

Something is missing.
On the plan, it is not visible that the basement ceiling should protrude 2m to stand dry at the front door and at the same time be able to reach the terrace from the kitchen above via a narrow path.
We made a "little model" yesterday where you can see this quite well. If the orientation is difficult, I can add the cardinal directions.

We should increase our budget to 550,000, right? ;)

Wow

I really like the model

I no longer see the budget as sufficient. Ground floor/upper floor, ah, I would arrange the kitchen differently. Outside is for me a proper living area and should be directly connected to the kitchen. A long walkway or narrow ledge would be no good.

Thank you!

How would you arrange the common room? By mirroring, you buy yourself a shorter path through a worse layout, because then the kitchen would be in the south and the living room in the north. Also, we would have to swap the pantry and the toilet. That would again result in long distances if someone needs to use the potty. I don't have a third idea.

..and attached is the window planning. We have also revised the living area and moved the partition wall a bit towards the dining room. With the windows, we made sure that the open space is generously bright and that the less important rooms are "sensibly" lit. Additionally, we tried to plan as symmetrically as possible and not to use too many different formats.
Regarding the formats, I want to say that we (still) are not familiar with them and did not select the sizes based on "real" formats.

You seem to love nature. That's how I interpret your remark about the dirt road. I now drink a coffee or mulled wine in the garden every evening, except when it rains heavily. I watch birds, check on my plants, etc. We live outside for several months of the year. I often work on the terrace. The kitchen with fridge and coffee machine is used more often than the toilet. Cancel the pantry, you still have a large basement. Stairs more towards the north. Kitchen where the WC/stairs are now. The herb bed is then right outside the door. Oh yes, and children are outside a lot up to a certain age.
